In 2014 Jennifer Andrewes and her family packed up and moved to Quillan, a French village in the Aude, in the south-west region of France, nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees. An adventure, which she writes about  in Parallel Lives: Four Seasons in the French Pyrenees.

Jennifer is available on request, to talk about her experience, engage in conversation, answer questions and read excerpts.

Past author talks have included the French launch of Parallel Lives as part of the annual Salon des Écrivains writers’ festival programme in Quillan, and the New Zealand launch at Unity Books Wellington.

Jennifer has also given author talks at bookstores and libraries in Auckland, Hamilton, Christchurch and Dunedin, in conjunction with the Alliance Francaise network. In October 2019 Jennifer will attend the Akaroa French Festival.

Don’t miss an engaging discussion as Jennifer chats about la vie en France and her ode to the people, places and food that made the experience so incredible.

Parallel Lives is available for sale at all events, and Jennifer will be happy to sign copies and answer any questions you have.
