As you know France is famous for its bread. I never truly understood what exactly they meant until this morning when I had a piece of warm freshly baked baguette and an equally good pain au chocolat. As for the cheeses check out Tom’s post if you haven’t already.

Oh my goodness, Ollie, you are making my mouth water, with all that talk of bread and pains aux chocolat. Hopefully there is a great wee bakery in Quillan – I’d be very happy to go and buy breakfast there with you and Tom every morning.
