Rent our home
After a long house hunt that took us to all four corners of the Aude, we finally bought a house to call home in France. And when we’re not there, it’s available to rent.
Situated on the edge of a small village, this historic stone house, the village’s original school, has been converted to a simple and comfortable family holiday home, retaining character features and charm.
South-facing, with stunning uninterrupted views of the surrounding hills, the house benefits from maximum sunshine all year round and unrivaled access to the outdoors.
The private walled garden, bordering the tranquil St Bertrand creek provides a peaceful spot for relaxing, and a great space for the children to play with minimal supervision. Outdoor dining furniture is available for use.
Downstairs, a spacious living room and kitchen provide flexibility for dining and relaxing. On the first floor, three generous size bedrooms, with original wooden floors all have uninterrupted views of the creek and hills, and share a bathroom. On the top floor the large attic space has been converted to a comfortable open plan bedroom with double and two single beds, and its own bathroom.
Free wifi and access to more than 50 television channels is included.
